It guarantees that the sole is insulated against the risk of electric shocks due to voltages of up to 1000 volts in alternating current (AC) and up to 1500 volts in direct current (DC), in a dry environment.

REMINDER OF SAFETY RULES

As a category III PPE, it is important to take a few precautions before wearing the shoe: 

  • Check that the inside and outside of the shoe are undamaged.
  • Make sure that the shoes are not dirty, polluted or damp.
  • Make sure that the shoes are suitable for the maximum stress they are likely to encounter when worn.

During use, it is advisable to avoid situations where there is a risk of cuts, punctures, mechanical or chemical aggression. Use in dry environments only.

As a reminder, footwear with electrically insulating soles alone cannot provide 100% protection.

They must be worn in conjunction with insulating gloves, mats and/or tools.
