Because some professions are male-dominated, women (all too) often find themselves having to wear clothes designed for men. An insult to femininity that PARADE had to put a stop to. That's why in 2017 we launched our first workwear collection designed exclusively for women. PARADE has put a great deal of thought into creating clothes that are as beautiful as they are practical, and as stylish as they are protective.

Style, colour, femininity and protection are all present and correct!

In this article, we'll start with a selection of women's safety shoes. Then we'll take a look at a selection of clothes.

1. BREATHABLE SAFETY SHOES

For a variety of reasons, Parade Protection has designed a complete range of safety shoes specifically for women.

Firstly, because they don't have the same morphology as men. There are many differences between men and women, particularly when it comes to footwear. As a general rule, women's shoes are just smaller versions of the shoes designed for men.

The problem is that the biomechanics of women's lower limbs, i.e. the way they walk, is not the same as that of men. This phenomenon can be explained by morphological differences between men and women, such as:

- Women have a narrower foot and heel

- Women have a smaller heel-to-toe ratio

- Women have a more pronounced back arch

We feel it's essential to offer shoes exclusively dedicated to women because their needs, tastes and expectations are different from those of their male colleagues.

At Parade Protection, we have a wide range of sizes, colours and shapes to suit everyone's preferences. Our ultra-resistant ankle boots, classy low shoes, sturdy boots and clogs as beautiful as they are practical all retain their aesthetic appeal without losing any of their ergonomics or safety.

The Brazilia range

The Brazilia range is our safety shoe range 100% designed for women. Parade Protection has worked hard to develop this iconic range around two key themes: comfort and style. With PARADE AIR technology and a 3 cm wedge heel, the BRAZILIA range has been developed to improve posture and make everyday walking easier. The range has been expanded to include 7 new ankle boots and shoes, 4 S1P shoes and 3 S3 shoes.

BRIANA the premium model.
BRIANA, is our must-have shoe designed to S3 standard in kip leather with iridescent detailing for a feminine and elegant look. The high shaft is ideal for supporting the ankle and providing uncompromising comfort. And its insole provides great moisture management throughout superwoman’s working day! Choose BRIANA for a trendy, feminine look that's ideal for "shining" in all circumstances, while being protected at all times!

Sporty shoes: BALKIE et BALMIE.
BALKIE & BALMIE are made from different materials that make the shoes extremely breathable. These two S1P-label shoes will guarantee you maximum ease and comfort even after long distances. There's an iridescent strip at the back of the shoe for a trendy, feminine look. The little extra? Black and iridescent two-tone laces for a chic vibe!

The Superflex range: safety trainers

This range, inspired by fashion and sport, guarantees flexibility, comfort and grip! Parade’s aim is to create safety shoes with style, that look like the shoes you wear every day. Why? Because a stylish shoe is more likely to be worn!

The colourful Superflex range includes the following products for women: SQUASH (S1P), SLALUM (S1P) and SLAMER (S3).

Particular care was taken to ensure immediate and exceptional comfort: padded heel reinforcement, breathable ventilated insoles made from thick EVA foam (ethylene vinyl acetate) for the sole. The shoes in this range have been designed to reduce walking fatigue and to be worn frequently, without risk of overheating thanks to their seamless upper construction. The entire Superflex collection is 100% non-magnetic and HRO to meet the demands of everyday use. This sportswear range is suitable for both damp environments (S3 version) and warm, temperate environments (S1P version).

OLDA t-shirt: OLDA is a short-sleeved t-shirt with an integrated bra in breathable mesh. It is only attached at the shoulders for greater freedom of movement. Pink, dark blue, light blue or grey, this t-shirt is available in 4 colours, so find the one that suits you best!

OSTRA softshell : This reinforced Softshell jacket is water-resistant and breathable, ideal for bad weather. This jacket has a fleece lining to keep you warm. It also has a Parade collar to protect the back of the neck from the cold. Finally, its multiple pockets mean you can take your pencils and small tools everywhere without worrying about them falling out thanks to the zips.

BENXI dungarees : BENXI are straight-cut denim dungarees with Lycra inserts for added ease and comfort. You'll love the many pockets: front bib pocket, front diagonal pocket, invisible zip pocket, contrasting zip pocket... These dungarees have other features like a pen insert and a ring for hanging your keys! These dungarees also have a high, elasticated waist in the back to cover the lower back when kneeling or bending and for protection against the weather.

ASMARA cap : For summer protection, choose ASMARA. This shock-proof cap has a short 3 cm visor and retro-reflective strips. This cap is one size but has an adjustable Velcro tab at the back. Asmara will protect you from blows to the head. As well as being water-repellent, this cap offers lightweight protection thanks to its metal-free ABS shell and EVA foam that allows air to circulate. This product is easy to clean and is machine washable.

AMAZY is a grey hat made from French yarns recycled by Filature du Parc. This recycled knit provides greater resistance to abrasion while retaining its softness and warmth.

For autumn or winter, you'll love the OCALA down jacket in lightweight, reinforced polyester. The cuffs are gathered beneath the wrist with a contrasting elastic Parade orange band to protect the back of the hand from the cold while allowing freedom to move.

OISON : Warm, comfortable women's fleece with a high collar to stop your neck getting cold.

BOMBAY trousers : Work trousers with a high adjustable waist. These trousers have many pockets: diagonal pockets in the front, small zip pocket with keyring above, tape measure pocket on the right with pen slot, large zip front pocket on the left and phone pocket that rotates when bending down.
