PRODUCT EXTRAS
The updated carpenter's trousers
Balzac comes in a classic size, with a thick, robust fabric and a button fly. Mainly worn by carpenters and joiners, these are work trousers appreciated by all professionals for their comfort and solidity. With Balzac, PARADE offers you a new version of the carpenter’s trousers, a more responsible garment with a modern cut. Balzac is made in denim with 98% Ecocert®* organic cotton, with a touch of elastane for added softness. The traditional half-balloon shape - flared at the thighs and tightened at the ankles - has been softened for impeccable fit and ease of movement. Double-layer fabric at the bottom of the legs for reinforcement, triple stitching at the back and sides: when it comes to durability, Balzac is a winner too!
Finally, these men's work trousers wouldn't be complete without storage for your tools and accessories:
- 2 front diagonal pockets,
- 1 gusset pocket for a chalk, for example,
- 1 tape measure pocket on the right side,
- 1 welt pocket on the back with a button.
*Ecocert®: recycled yarns from processed pre-consumer waste

At Parade, we carry out a life cycle analysis to measure the environmental impact of each of our models: from the extraction of raw materials, manufacturing, use, logistics, right through to the end of the product's life. Our environmental impact calculators, developed in-house using ADEME's EMPREINTE® database, have been certified by AFNOR for textiles and validated by the Eco-design Cluster* for footwear.
*The Eco-design cluster is the national center for eco-design and life-cycle performance. Its expertise is recognized nationally and internationally by ADEME, the French Ministry of the Environment, AFNOR, ISO and the UN-environment.
