PRODUCT EXTRAS

Norman: the safety ankle boot that supports your ankle comfortably and effectively

Featuring a high shaft that provides excellent ankle support, the Norman safety shoe is ideal for professionals who regularly get on and off site machinery. But it will also be appreciated by all other construction professionals for its comfort! The Norman safety shoes feature a breathable 3D mesh lining, a soft foam collar and tongue, a more comfortable insole and the VPS SYSTEM which supports the natural arch of the foot.

To standard EN ISO 20345: 2011 S3 SRC CI HI, Norman safety ankle boots provide protection against the risks of slipping, toe crushing and impact, as well as insulating the sole against extreme temperatures. These robust ankle boots meet the requirements of civil engineering and construction sectors:

  • offset heel, large studs and sole with FLEX SYSTEM;
  • pull-up leather, moisture-resistant for 7 hours;
  • top-stitched eyelets, ultra-solid loops and hooks, resistant to a load of over 40 kg, for reinforced lacing;
  • double and triple top-stitched seams;
  • inner gusset to prevent soil or sand from entering the boot.

What's more, they're 100% non-magnetic, thanks to a design with a non-metallic anti-puncture insert and composite toe cap.

VPS (suspended arch support)

The shoe's ergonomic shape maintains the natural arch of the foot, following the arch's curve. This support inside the sole itself provides unrivalled comfort, particularly in the case of small or shuffling steps and extended periods of standing still.

Flex system

FLEX SYSTEM technology is suitable for construction work and uneven surfaces. The exclusive design of the sole with its grooves reduces the pressure areas on the sole, providing flexibility and comfort when walking. The shoe moves with the foot and the horizontal and notched grooves under the metatarsal bones, where the foot naturally bends, naturally expel soil as the foot moves forward. You can find our FLEX SYSTEM technology in all our shoes with our NEBRASKA and NEVADA soles.

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

At Parade, we carry out a life cycle analysis to measure the environmental impact of each of our models: from the extraction of raw materials, manufacturing, use, logistics, right through to the end of the product's life. Our environmental impact calculators, developed in-house using ADEME's EMPREINTE® database, have been certified by AFNOR for textiles and validated by the Eco-design Cluster* for footwear.

*The Eco-design cluster is the national center for eco-design and life-cycle performance. Its expertise is recognized nationally and internationally by ADEME, the French Ministry of the Environment, AFNOR, ISO and the UN-environment.
